Welcome to First United Methodist Church of West Dundee
We’re glad you’re here.

First United Methodist Church has been serving the West Dundee community since 1835. Located on Main Street, directly across from Grafelman Park, our church sits right in the heart of town life. We are grateful to be part of a vibrant, historic community and remain committed to serving our neighbors with care and purpose.

A Church That Feels Like Home

One of our greatest strengths is the genuine love we share for one another and for our community. We seek to live that out in tangible ways through hospitality, service, and compassion.

We are intentional about creating a space where all people feel welcomed, included, and supported. We believe in showing up for one another and working toward justice, especially for those who are most vulnerable or often overlooked.

What to Expect on Sundays

Our worship is engaging, meaningful, and rooted in connection. You’ll experience a blend of music, thoughtful messages, and creative elements that help bring faith to life.

  • Worship: Sundays at 10:00 a.m.
  • Sunday School: Available for children and youth during worship
  • Fellowship Time: Join us after service in the Fireside Room, just through the doors beside the altar

We also offer:

  • A professionally staffed nursery
  • A Safe Sanctuaries commitment to ensuring a safe environment for all
