How We Serve

Community Meal

Serve alongside a team offering a free, welcoming meal on the third Saturday of each month from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Volunteer opportunities include shopping, preparing food, serving, cleanup, publicity, and fundraising. This ministry is a partnership with local churches and businesses, hosted at the Trinity Center in Carpentersville.

Kids Hope USA

Be part of a mentoring ministry that supports at-risk students through one-on-one relationships. Mentors meet weekly with students at Lakewood Elementary, while prayer partners support both mentor and student through prayer. Opportunities are available to serve as a mentor or prayer partner.

Kairos Cookie Ministry

Support Kairos Prison Ministry by baking cookies for weekend retreats held in April and October. These cookies are a simple but meaningful way to share God’s love and encouragement with those who are incarcerated. Approved recipes are provided through the Kairos program.

PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter)

Help provide care for individuals experiencing homelessness in our community. On the first Sunday of each month, volunteers prepare lunches for PADS guests following worship. Sign up on the Missions Board or join the team in the kitchen after service.

Heartland Blood Drives

Help save lives by participating in blood drives hosted at the church several Saturdays throughout the year. You can also schedule a donation directly with Heartland Blood Center at a time that works best for you

Yarn Ministry

Gather monthly on the second Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. to create handmade items such as prayer shawls, blankets, hats, and more. These items are shared with those in need as a tangible expression of care. All skill levels are welcome, and yarn donations are appreciated.

Mission Trips

Mission trips are a meaningful part of discipleship for both youth and adults. They offer opportunities to serve, grow, and experience faith in action.
